The year 2025 is coming to an end. A lot has happened—and we’re taking a moment for a short recap.
2025 was exhausting—probably the most intense year the band has ever had. We produced two albums, played live at the same time, worked on our show, created merch, rebuilt our social media presence, prepared our YouTube/Twitch division with the new branch “NEONYZER Pro Gaming,” developed our own app, and—together with the EVENYZER software—brought the new show to life.
People often say: “You have to drill a thick plank.” Well, this wasn’t a plank anymore—this was a tunnel through a granite mountain.
That everything worked out in the end wasn’t just down to dwarven stubbornness, but also because we work and play in an environment that keeps giving us the strength to carry on. That’s not only you, standing in front of the stage—it’s also friends, family, acquaintances, other bands, and of course promoters.
You can’t measure that kind of support in follower counts or interactions. You can see it in five weeks in the Ruhrcharts. You can see it in the number of people who volunteered to test our app—and in the way the community jumps in to solve problems together when something goes wrong.
So once again: thank you to everyone who made this possible. Thank you to all the amazing people and musicians who make the underground scene what it is: open, friendly, warm-hearted.
And a very personal, special thank-you to our Klicksi: she’s been with us for a year now and does so much more behind the scenes than “just” social media. THANK YOU!
Unfortunately, we’re also starting 2026 with a big worry line on our faces: Jonathan won’t be able to play with us for the next six months due to work. Our substitute unfortunately didn’t manage to learn the set in time over the last five months—so we’ll be playing the first shows without a drummer. This decision wasn’t easy for us. A detailed explanation will follow in the next few days.
At the same time, we’re really looking forward to 2026. We’ve landed our first sponsor, we’re continuing to work on the new show, and we can’t wait to write new songs.
And we can’t wait to see you!
A lot of concerts are planned, and some special events are planned too (we’re not telling yet!)—all in all, an exciting journey awaits us and you into the worlds that fascinate us so much.
Have a great start to the new year and stay healthy.
Yours,
NEONYZER
